Ensco is seeking to recruit an entry level (Junior) analyst at the Athens branch office of a Swiss-based Energy Trading firm.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the senior analysts in identifying trading opportunities, develop and implement of trading strategies.
- Power Scheduling duties (including rotating shifts during weekends & holidays)
- Trade confirmation; Trade settlement
- Contract management
- Involvement in position and risk management
- Involvement in regulatory compliance
Qualifications & Skills
Background:
- A bachelor’s degree in STEM (Science, technology, engineering and mathematics) or Finance, Accounting and Business Administration is usually necessary to effectively perform this role.
- Advanced degree holders (Master’s) with limited work experience may also apply.
- Critical thinking and strong analytical problem solving abilities
- Excellent MS Excel skills are a must
- Familiarity with Python and/or Matlab programming
- Candidate must be fluent in English; knowledge of German, Italian or of Eastern European Languages a plus.
